Congratulations to M.D.B. for writing the sex article, and to the Grapevine for publishing it. I know of no area in the life of us alcoholics that has been so deeply scarred by guilt, remorse and fear. I also believe that these scars take the longest to heal or remove. We AAs, or so it seems to me, are willing enough to be honest and to make amends in all other departments of our life before we face up to our sex fears and failures. This leads many of us into a most appallingly infantile self-righteousness and tendency to "point the finger." Let's be not only honest but adult.
