From Top to Bottom

MY experience and experimentation with alcohol began twenty-four years ago. From the time of my first drink until my last one I was unable to handle liquor. I think I was born with alcoholic tendencies. The four years preceding my marriage were years of consistent, smart-alec drinking. But strangely, immediately after marriage, there began for me a ten-year period of abstinence and complete lack of respect for anybody who even touched liquor. I cannot explain the reason for this.
