Let Others Beat the Drum

ONE of the greatest things about a couple of our Traditions is that the rest of the world is not bound by them. Tradition Six, for instance, counsels AA, as a movement, not to endorse outside enterprises; but thank Heaven, scores of outside enterprises endorse us! And Tradition Eleven limits our public relations policy to one of attraction rather than promotion but in no way prevents our loved ones, or our friends in the professions and the publicity media, from promoting the rewards and blessings of our program for all they're worth.
