No Refuge from the Law

MANY in AA know something about the storm of protest which arose over the use of our General Service confidential "World Directory" by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in circularizing groups in the Michigan area to inquire about a wanted person. These protests were justified, and it is to the credit of the New York office and its then GSO staff head, the late Hank G., that this matter was straightened out with the FBI so that there should be no repetition of this violation of the confidential nature of our directory.
