Tosspots Are Patsies. . .

But learning to be charitable toward chiselers pays dividends in serenity

MOST of us come into the Fellowship sullen and rebellious or else feeling like whipped dogs with our tails between our legs. The first great burst of good news--that we have a disease and that all the shameful behavior of the past is not entirely our fault--is like water to a man dying of thirst. Little by little we learn to make friends with ourselves under the gentle Live and Let Live program.
