The enclosed subscription is for a gal I helped sponsor. Though we have no Alateen in these parts, this came about directly as a result of my daughter telling this gal's son all about me, when they were in college. Most of the message carrying was done through the Grapevine. It took two years, and I knew nothing about it all until the four of us met recently at an open meeting (the son's first meeting) and the occasion of her first year of uninterrupted sobriety.
