I stand among many others in our Fellowship as an example of the remarkable power of restoration of life which is AA. Only two years ago, I was a shuddering, dying wreck, a wino in prolonged DTs, hopeless, destroyed mentally and physically. I had been to hospitals and insane asylums and there was no news there.
