The Anecdote Bin

AS reported in Bob Considine's column, a booklet put out by the Scandinavians says that: "When a Dane has downed three drinks he starts singing; after six he speaks fluent English. When he's had nine he doesn't want any more. Should you urge him, however, he will always agree to have just one more. When he has had twelve he will draw you into a corner and tell you in mildly scandalized tones how hard they hit the bottle in Sweden and Norway."
