Recently we heard an AA who is also a psychiatrist venture the opinion that resentments stem from frustrated love. There were times as children when we offered our love freely, unconditionally to a world that often rejected it, sometimes cruelly. This hurt us deeply, he said, and created in hearts intended to be loving, an enduring resentment. We found the notion fit material for a little Christmas pondering.
