I had built up a big barrier between me and sobriety and thought my circumstances were the most difficult. I thought I would have a terrific battle with myself and friends regarding liquor. Now, in AA, I find how wrong I was. I no longer have a physical craving for liquor; I don't crave anything except lasting sobriety.
