I am a housewife with four children and have been a member of AA for five wonderful, rewarding months. At the time I went on my last binge I financed a bottle of whiskey with the money from my baby's piggy bank, in which there was also a silver dollar given to him by a neighbor at his birth a year ago. I vowed when I got sober that I would replace that dollar somehow, some way. I was so ashamed.
