How the Groups Govern the General Service Office

THOSE who have preceded us in AA have given us three guides, called the Three Legacies, developed through their experience, for the continuation of the effectiveness of the program for ourselves and for those who will follow us. These precepts--Recovery, Unity and Service--were arrived at through long and painful efforts to gain and maintain their sobriety, by founders Bill and Dr. Bob and other pioneer members.
