The Anecdote Bin
FROM R.Y., Ridgewood, N.J. comes a couple of comments made by New York night club comedians. One stated that "Monthly freight car loadings have fallen off, but the sale of liquor has increased. This means that more people are getting loaded than freight cars." The other comic, in describing an acquaintance, said, "He's a problem drinker--never buys."
