Recently I got one of those rare thrills that we never forget, once experienced. I was led for seven or eight blocks through a low income section to an alley--through the alley, (which could only be duplicated in the Casbah of Algiers) through several turns and curves, until finally I was ushered into a small dwelling where there was a meeting of "Grupo Plazuelo Ayala." Fifty-six people were jammed into the meeting place. AA signs and symbols decorated the walls. There were more barefooted people than I've formerly seen at a meeting. It was a hidden corner of AA beauty.
