Today is different

My name is Oscar. I drank for fourteen years. I was a capitalist. I had several businesses of my own, specially a small house importer of magazines, a bar, and a small icecream shop. When I stop drinking I was in the misery, sad, I weighed only forty-three kilos, was trembling, had no job, no home, no money, no friends, no clothes. I was destroyed. Everything had disappeared. I did not believe in God, neither in myself. I had just abandoned another suicide intent; I wanted to throw myself off a five stories building.
