Third-man theme

Take for instance three short statements made by three different men, if we but could learn to master those and incorporate them into our lives we certainly could live and enjoy a very useful life. These three sayings, and the men who made them are: first, Aristotle who said "know thyself," Socrates who said "be thyself," and then, most important of all, Christ said "give of thyself." Once we have acquired these basic truths, we will I am sure learn the meaning of the Serenity Prayer.
