Alumni?

A fifteen year and over "Alumni" meeting was held in Philadelphia recently. One of the unusual aspects of this get-together was the fact that among the fifty "odd" members present not one among them has finished their course, nor has anyone graduated. Social and professional barriers were broken down and former Skid Row characters mingled with the "upper crust." However, a transformation was noticeable in that Skid Row characters had lost their crust and acquired a shine, and the "upper crust." usually defined as a bunch of crumbs held together with a little dough, were no longer "crumby."
