Here's where they listen

An AA meeting, is a unique place--one of the few places people want to hear about your troubles. Out "there," few have the time, interest or need to listen. In "here," your worries are welcome. Dump it all, past and present miseries--people wish you would. Here, a nobody becomes a somebody; an ignoramous can express himself and get an audience; the uneducated, who tell their story poorly, often tell it well--from the heart; the insignificant man is important. The weak become stronger; the strong are firmed up once again.
