Time Bomb

SHORTLY after coming into AA I attended a meeting in which a fellow blandly announced that he'd been to Europe. The water situation being so foul he finally chose a fine, rare wine to drink. He only had one, with no ill effects. The "bomb" didn't go off, as he'd half expected. He drank wine throughout his tour of the continent, limiting himself to one or two glasses. He was amazed his disease of alcoholism hadn't caught up with him.
