TWO interoffice items might interest you. One concerns a messenger who brought a package to Grapevine headquarters and was told it probably belonged to General Services, across the 18th floor on the other side of the building. The messenger, whose breath melted all the glass partitions in our reception room, eventually shuffled back with the information that GSO advised him the package belonged to the Grapevine. "No wonder they call this Alcoholics Anonymous," he hiccoughed. "Nobody knows nothing about anybody else around here."
