The Anecdote Bin

A NEWSPAPER called the Desert Rat, published in Thousand Palms, Calif., claims that "Printers don't drink more than other people; it JUst shoze uP mOOre in PRint." McCall's picked up that item and B. B., Kearny, N.Y., sent us the clip with the suggestion that we give it even more circulation. Why not? It goes right along with an Associated Press dispatch from Eureka, Calif., published in an upstate New York paper, as follows: "When the percentage of alcohol in the blood reaches .15 California police centage too drunk to drive a car, centage toohdrunk to drivz a car." Coffee break, Mac?
