About a year and a half ago I signed up with the Loners because the nearest AA group was thirty miles away, and I was not getting to meetings too frequently. To have such a contact is wonderful and the letters that appear in the Loners' Monthly Meeting letter show an intent of purpose and determination, sincerity and honesty that is beyond what one would ever believe could be possible. It surely shows in every case the presence of the Higher Power.
