At Akron, on Founder's Day, we didn't expect to see many of the individuals that were around in 1936 and 1937, for most of them have passed on, but we never fail to get a great lift and inspiration from just standing in front of the elevators in the Sheraton with the cocktail lounge to our right and the Church Directory to our left, thinking about what might have been or rather not have been if Bill had taken two steps to his right instead of to the Directory, on the left. If ever God moved an individual in any direction it was Bill that evening in 1935.
