Humdrum hour

My wife and I are newcomers to the security of the fold. My problem began on a lonely isle in the Central Pacific. It was a recognized custom to assemble in the Officers' club at 17:00--drink a cola down to the bottom of "C," fill the six ounce bottle with Australian rum or brandy, and begin to unwind.
