Since I have been back on the ship, I have had the privilege of seeing a few of the fellows whom I have sailed with in these past few years and who are today, sober and happy. This is really the big pay-off in our way of life. To see someone that we know is sober and happy because we were not too busy, too tired or just too lazy to pass along some of the things that we have learned. Lord, but I am grateful that those who had come before me weren't too tired, too busy or too lazy to share these wonderful insights with me when I came along.
