HAVE you wondered what would happen if you claimed your AA expenses as an income tax deduction? Well, according to a recent issue of The Internal Revenue Bulletin, as reported in the N. Y. Times, a taxpayer asked permission to deduct the cost of traveling to and from AA meetings because his doctor told him he had to join the club in order to be cured (it says). The IRS ruled that the cost of transportation was a deductible medical expense. All right, fellows; you've got until the 15th, but let's stop this shoving.
