FROM Maryville, Tennessee, Helen S. submits a clip reporting that the owner of a package store wanted a permit for drinking on the premises because his customers who bought flip-top cans of beer were zipping them open right outside his premises. His request was denied when the County Health Dept. said the store owner had inadequate sewage facilities. "Having been an avid beer drinker," Helen comments, "I can fully appreciate the seriousness of thought put into the reasons for denial."
