The Anecdote Bin
Dedicated to the lighter side of our common problem
IN jolly old London, according to a UPI story, one Peter Maynard was stopped by a policeman who wanted to see if Peter was drunk. "I wasn't," Mr. Maynard said, "but I was so insulted I thought I would get completely plastered to make up for it." He did, and was stopped by another cop and fined $1.40. Watch those resentments, Peter.
