The Anecdote Bin
Dedicated to the lighter side of our common problem
THE first nifty this month is from Dr. Fred, of Punta Gorda, Florida, and it concerns a doctor (not Fred) who patronized a certain bar and invariably ordered a Daiquiri. One day the bartender, finding he was out of nutmeg (Nutmeg?--Ed.), grated a hickory nut into the drink. "What sort of Daiquiri is this?" asked the customer after taking a sip. "That's a hickory Daiquiri, Doc," the mixmaster told him.
