The Anecdote Bin
Dedicated to the lighter side of our common problem
FROM Puerto Rico, V. R. relays the philosophy of one of his fellow members towards the 24-hour plan, as follows: "You can't dry today's wash with yesterday's sun (it has set and gone forever), nor can you dry it with tomorrow's sun (which has not yet risen), but only with today's sun." V. R. also reports that a sign in a bar there proclaims: "No credit today. Tomorrow yes." (Hoy no fio. Manñana si.)
