The Anecdote Bin
Dedicated to the lighter side of our common problem
ANONYMOUS, of Toronto, submits the case of the policeman who stopped a car and said to the driver, "You were doing 50 miles an hour in a 30-mile zone." The man at the wheel said he wasn't. "Yes, you were," the officer insisted. "No, I wasn't," repeated the driver. At this point his wife spoke up. "Please, officer," she pleaded, "don't argue with my husband when he's drunk."
