In the past months we have had the pleasure of welcoming a number of AA members to Karachi, men who are seamen from various ports in the States. Each of them has given me at least one valuable phrase or insight to add to my three-year search for sobriety and, of course, just meeting people who are living proof that alcoholism can be overcome gives courage.
