<emphasis type="bold">What means have I found helpful in getting out of a bad frame of mind?</emphasis> ("Put Yourself in a New Frame of Mind")

Let's say that it is this way with us sometimes: the world looks gray and dreary; we feel, if not exactly depressed, then at least flat and unenthusiastic; all the people about us seem harsh, stupid, and unloveable. Hopeless state of affairs? Not really. It may even be a good kind of signal sent to us as a warning to get busy and do a little work on changing our attitudes.
