The Anecdote Bin

Dedicated to the lighter side of our common problem

THIS reminds us of a doleful story sent in by P. L. B. (it looks like), from the Park Presidio group in San Francisco, California, about a boozer who always came home, stoned, to a wife who never touched liquor. She decided, finally, to try to fix his wagon, so, one night when he reeled in, she reached for a bottle, poured out a glassful and shot it straight down her hatch. It burned the hell out of her, of course, and she writhed on the floor, gasping that the stuff was awful. Her sodden mate looked down at her and said, "And YOU thought I was having a good time!"
