Can an Atheist Find a Place in AA?

Here's a report from one who did

AS I read the Grapevine every month, one thought always stands out in my mind. Many stories are about particular alcoholics who have found their niches in life and, more important, in AA. In each case, there is a fight, a surrender and an acceptance. This seems to be topped off by an air of enthusiasm about the fellowship, and a tranquility about these individuals which is almost an entity unto itself.
