The author of "Anything wrong with AA?" in the March Grapevine seems to be apologizing because he feels that members of AA are not broadminded enough to appreciate other approaches to the alcoholic problem, such as the efforts of the medical profession, clergymen, psychologists and prison officials. To many of us in AA, however, there seems to be no great need to understand fully all the other procedures in attacking the problem of alcoholism in order to be able to work with these people, as Bill suggests that we do, in a friendly and cooperative manner.
