The Anecdote Bin
Dedicated to the lighter side of our common problem
HERE again is Mrs. R. B., of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who passes along an observation about Christopher Columbus. "It may be," she says, "that he was an alcoholic, because (1) when he sailed to the new world he didn't know where he was going, (2) when he got there he didn't know where he was, (3) when he returned he didn't know where he had been and (4) he did it all on money he borrowed from a gal named Isabella.
