. . .Have worked to get everybody in our new group posted to greet newcomers (or occasional visitors from other groups). . .I simply cannot believe I would ever have stuck out my first few weeks of miserable uncertainty if a pretty significant per cent of my (then) group had not been very, very welcoming. I was feeling as if I belonged under a rock, so it meant a lot to me to be told I really belonged at meetings by means of that simple little combination of a smile, a handshake and a big hello!
