An Australian's Story

I CAN remember when I was very young Dad would arrive home late, and sit in front of the fire. Next morning among the ashes we might find his false teeth and what was left of his hat. I remember his sometimes being as sick as a dying dog. As far as I can remember, though, the grog never caused him to miss work.
