Resentments in the Group

Drunks vary tremendously in range of characteristics, but they all (at least the hundreds I've known) have one in common. Corrosive resentments. Until the AA member recognizes this defect, to say nothing of trying to subdue it, he is likely to have a woeful time, if indeed he doesn't skid back into the ditch. Aggressive and know-it-all Group members can focus resentments. But tangling with such members can become excellent therapy, if it serves to jar awake the resenting ones.
