Carrying the message

I never thought that some day I would be invited to have a cup of tea with the Governor of Barlinnie Prison. But it happened. Assembled in the Prison Chapel were over eighty prisoners together with the Governor, two of the Chaplains, one of the doctors and several of the Prison staff. Also present were eight members of AA. Three spoke very briefly of their history and how AA had helped them to solve their drinking problem. One of the speakers was an ex-inmate, another was a doctor and the third a businessman.
