Carrying the Message

Reflections

What shall I write about? There's nothing in particular but everything in general. Winter is with us. Where I live--on the 23rd of June each year, the sun shines on our back doorstep at exactly 9:15 in the morning. That is the morning of the longest night, and the start, you could say, of the lengthening and warmer days ahead. Quite a milestone on a yearly basis, as is bedtime each twenty-four hours of the AA program. Both are marvelous things and give rise to great thankfulness.
