DO you find yourself frustrated in the effort to find just the right gift to buy for a special friend? Did you leave a department store empty-handed, or did you come away having bought too much? I often did. Packages dangled from my fingertips by strings, I hugged bulky boxes tightly. I had allowed gift-giving to become an expensive chore. Resentments piled up.
