The Anecdote Bin
Dedicated to the lighter side of our common problem
THE difference between an alcoholic and a nonalcoholic, says E. S., of Savannah, Georgia, is simply this: If they both left a building through the same door where a man with a ball bat stood ready to hit each of them on the head, the non-alky would soon find another exit; but the alky would continue to get whopped on the noggin and would actually wait around if the slugger didn't happen to be there. Right?
