More on Closed Meetings

New Zealand reports on a successful experiment

AFTER last month's Grapevine went winging on its way it occurred to us that we might have started something with our article about closed meetings (on page 21) by mentioning a letter from New Zealand describing a kind of closed meeting that usually ended up in a donnybrook of vociferous talk. You see, we mentioned that we had had just fourteen letters on closed meetings from readers, and since we have forty-five thousand readers, it would be very reasonable to suppose that the New Zealand letter we mentioned was the letter from New Zealand; there couldn't have been more than one New Zealand letter out of the fourteen, could there?
