Carrying the Message

Recently I was away from home in circumstances where I could not attend meetings for several weeks. True to form, I found something to worry about in looking ahead to a long spell without group support. Would I get into a foul mood, and not be able to get out of it? And then I remembered you loners who may have to go for months without even seeing another AA member, and I was able to say to myself, "Don't be silly. If they can do it, so can you." And sure enough, I got along dandy--well, almost dandy.
