The Anecdote Bin
SPEAKING OF WHICH, hangover clinics have been opened in Helsinki and six other Finnish towns for the purpose of cutting down absenteeism from work. A victim's anonymous visit costs him 90 cents and he is dosed with "pills, soup, juices, tranquilizers and stimulants." (Some of this sounds to us like the hair of the dog.)
