Court Class on Alcoholism

THE courts have long felt themselves powerless to do anything for the alcoholic. It is most frustrating to find the same men appearing in court week after week--in many cases extending into years. Jail terms will not cure. About the only thing which can be said for jail is that it keeps the alcoholic out of the way for a while and the jail food builds him up so that he can live through his extended drinking periods.
