Carrying the Message

"If music be the food of love--play on." AA to an alcoholic is the food of life. There are many variations to a musical theme, so with AA the expression of the basic concepts are many. Music plays a large part in the lives of everyone, whether it be classical or "honky-tonk". A few bars of a melody can bring back to mind instances and occurrences which otherwise would be forgotten. That's why I like reading AA literature. It helps me to remember that but for the Grace of God I would not be alive.
