Carrying the Message

A neighbor stopped in one afternoon. Evidently she had had about enough of this business of stopping in for a pleasant chit-chat, and finding me in the middle of some big project--like trying to figure out the Communist angle in Cuba, changing the color of my hair, or spraying a chair (and being so lavish with the paint that the ceiling, floor, and a few assorted plants were getting the full treatment). And I was always drinking beer--to help me think creatively! Oh Brother!!
